The Utah Tech Learn and Work program will conclude on August 31, 2026. At this time, no new applications are being accepted, and the program will not be renewed for the following year.

I heard about the Learn and Work in Utah program from a friend who just graduated and suggested the program to obtain more marketable technical skills. I completed the coursework on the Pluralsight platform and passed (on my first try) the CompTIA Security+ exam. Currently, I am interviewing for jobs and the certification on my resume has helped me get interviews. The Learn and Work in Utah program is a great program and well worth investing in as it will improve your career options, salary, or ability to be successful in your current job.
I joined the Learn and Work in Utah program because I wanted a career change. I was also looking to get my first industry certification and this program was offering a reimbursement of the exam cost. It was not easy when life is hectic with a full-time job. I finally got my CompTIA Security+ certification with the help of this program. I received a fulltime job offer from the Department of Army as a GS-9 IT Specialist position in Alaska. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is looking to get an IT certification and improve their technical skills.
Learn the Work in Utah is an intriguing program to enhance learning new technical skills. I took courses in the cyber security program with the hope of passing the certification test. My goal was to gain new skills with a potential job change into the technology sector. This was my first online learning program. The fact the courses can be taken at all hours of the day made it extremely accessible. With my new skills, I can either apply for positions within my company or explore new opportunities. I would certainly recommend this program to anyone interested in improving their technical skills and knowledge.
